I can only find positive meanings for the word bridge.
It is a structure that allows us to go from one side to another. According to
the dictionary it is also something that makes it easier to make a change from one situation to another. In
English, there is the expression ‘We’ll cross that bridge when we come to it’. We
have beautiful bridges, like Ponte Vecchio, movable bridges all around, like in
Chicago; The Bridges of Madison County, or a Bridge Over Troubled Water.

Bridge Over Troubled Water is wonderful. And I like the cover you´ve posted. Last year I spent more than an hour listening to different artists singing that song. From Johnny Cash to Willie Nelson.
ReplyDeleteTalking about nice words, there are lots of them. We mentioned months ago rivers as ways to runaway. I could also think of friendship, peace or creativity, but they sound to me obvious and pompous.
