Flipped Education

I was surprised to learn about 'flipped schools' and how far technology can take us sometimes. I wonder how this project would work in our country, but I guess we still have to change too many other things before we start thinking of this kind of experiment.

What would you change about your school?

  1. TEACHERS AND BOULEVARDS
What I would do is simple: the student has to do instead of listen and repeat. But that is difficult to translate into a mark. Another problem is that teachers do what other teachers have done with them. Even when if you know what to do, fighting against inertia could be exhausting. Or maybe these are just stupid excuses.
Finally I would like to talk about dirty boulevards.

  2. Shakespeare´s teachers
I´m sure you´ve seen these videos before. I find them quite interesting and funny. Do we want to change the way we teach? Is it possible? Is it easy? Do we know how to do it? Are we able to make the great effort that it requires? Too many questions.
Thank you again for keeping this wonderful website alive. It is almost the only link between me and English language lately. It has to do with the topic we are talking about: a different and fun way of learning.

  3. Thanks, Manolo, for these two interesting videos. Learning through fun most of the time implies learning in a relaxed atmosphere, which is always positive!
