  1. I can't do without music. In fact, it's an important part of my life and it reminds me most of my best moments, what are usually associated with a particular song.

I listen to music whenever I can. It always comes with me when I'm driving or doing sport and it also helps me when I have to cook, do housework and all. I even listen to music when I'm studying.

On the other hand, I haven't got a prefer kind of music, it always depends on my mood, but the music I hate the most is reggaeton. I think it’s rude, violent, sexist and repetitive.

Finally, I'm not able to choose my prefer songs but, due to the raining day, I would recommend you "Tears in Heaven", one of the best songs composed by Eric Clpaton.

  2. The Beatles, Billie Holiday, Pink Floid and Damien Rice, several songs for different likes.
Optimism, a strong feeling of sadness, a critical comment of the teachers, or a love story.
You can choose depending on your mood or your feelings.
I would recommend a country tune to dance

  3. Gustavo, I agree with you on the qualities of reggaeton. In fact, reggeaton lyrics are sometimes quite similar in content to rap music. I think if people knew how degrading and sexist lyrics in many rap songs are their perception of this type of music would change completely.

  4. Mercedes, you described the mood of the songs I posted beautifully. Thanks for the link to a really cool version of 'Hello Mary Lou'!

  5. I love music. I need to listen music every day. I couldn't write all my favourite songs, bands or singers. However, I've choosen one. It reminds me some places and periods of my life. It's a beautiful and emotional song by Loreena Mckennitt.
Sorry, I didn't found the video with English subtitle. Enjoy it.

  7. When I was a teenager I liked The Beathes and Bob Dylan; after I began to listen flamenco,Classical (Mozart, Beethoven...), Rock, folk and Balads. At the end I think that I like MUSIC, every type of music, even the Music Hall (e.g. If you want clic here to listen the son " Buried under the stage").

  8. I don´t know how to start because writing about music is writing about feelings, and that´s embarassing. I´ve been jumping from song to song for two hours to decide what to send you. The answer to almost every song you`ve posted is in Springsteen. However, I´m not going to take that way because I wouldn´t finish. Maybe next time.
I´ve selected artists that transmit personality with their voices, as Billy Holiday does. She´s made me look for Chet Baker and Van Morrison songs.

    Chet baker: Let's get lost

    Van Morrison: Philosopher's stone

    I hope you enjoy them.

  9. Manolo (Infante):

I love the song you sent us. I don't speak French, but when it comes to French music (and this only happens to me with French music) I find I don't need to speak the language in order to appreciate it.

  10. Manolo,

I thoroughly enjoyed listening to Van Morrison's 'Philosopher's Stone' while looking at those roads and mountains. What a beautiful song. Thanks!
